RelyOn Credit Union has an outstanding opportunity for a Business Development & Community Engagement Officer to market the magic of membership across the Dallas and Kaufman Counties. The credit union has two established locations and is opening a third this year! This role is a hybrid of sales, marketing, and public relations, and will represent the credit union at company benefit fairs, community events, chamber events, etc., to develop partnerships and increase brand awareness.
This role is a critical driver of credit union growth and will conduct on-site visits to promote our products and services; participate in community and Chamber events, acting as the face of RelyOn; build relationships by hosting workplace financial wellness webinars; implement and manage our in-school student branch program; and seek ways to build brand recognition across the two county footprint.
Our ideal candidate has 3-5 years’ outside sales experience; community banking or credit union experience is a huge plus! We need an outgoing, forward-thinking team member who wants to do well while doing good. We’re seeking someone who’s never met a stranger, is comfortable presenting to small and large groups, has high emotional intelligence, possesses tech savviness, is creatively inclined, and likes to juggle multiple projects simultaneously.
